Im assuming no actual damage to the facilities, just everyone is evacuated or a zombie and so the facilities have no one working in them. How long can the power and water plants and infrastructure run on their own with no maintenance?

2022.01.17 15:22 LosAngelestoNSW Is it still worth putting your name in for a Steam Deck in January 2022?
I had been really excited about getting my hands on one of these, and the expected wait time says "after Q2" which I took to mean sometime in July. But seeing as how many people placed their orders many months ago and are already being pushed to Q2, I am wondering how far "after Q2" extends, because obviously at some point it's not going to be worth the wait (I would say if its in Q4 or later, I would probably withdraw to see what other options are available, including the new gaming devices that will use 12th Gen Intel tech.)

2022.01.17 15:22 Definition92 Help with file types
I'm trying to help a family member who has the designer topaz 50 Husqvarna Viking machine. They recently got EmbroideryWare software. It looks like the export file types are DST, DST+ EDR, DST Center All Hoops, PES, PEC, EXP, EXP+, JEF, SVG. I'm less then beginner when it comes to sewing / embroidery but I'm good with computers. It looks like the topaz likes HUS files? To get to the point I guess I want to know if any of these file types work with Husqvarna or are we out of luck? And if so any tips or things to know would be much appreciated.

2022.01.17 15:22 SincerelyBrownGuy White Ambiance bulb showing up as White and Color Ambiance Spot in app?
Something strange happened to one of my White Ambiance A19 bulbs this morning. It's in an overhead light with another bulb of the same type that came in a bundle. I woke up to find the bulb unreachable and off. I unscrewed it and screwed it back in, and it turned on, but it was still unreachable. I deleted it from the app and re-added it, and it showed up again, but now it has a colour wheel in addition to the temperature wheel. I noticed that when it was autodiscovered, it showed up with model number LCT003 in the app, which is a "Hue White and Color Ambiance Spot GU10". The other bulb has model number LTW004 in the app, which is what it should be. When I change the colours, it does seem to tint somewhat, although obviously nowhere close to a colour bulb. Most noticiable is the green side of the spectrum, which definitely loooks more green than I have ever seen this bulb do before. Has anyone experienced this before?

I have just started using WSL2 and noticed when I install VScode it recommends using the windows version with a remote extension. Is this still the recommended way of using it since the guides seem t be written before wsl added the GUI.

What happens if you tried your absolute, absolute best yet you failed your numeracy tests both times? Do you get put into another programme instead or does UOA not accept you anymore?
Maths isnt my strongest subject, (im better at other subjects though) however i'm so passionate about becoming a teacher that i'm scared this numeracy test will throw it all down the drain. 😔

2022.01.17 15:22 marcus_augustine John Sergeant's presidential term | Augustine's alternate elections
Vice President: James Barbour (1829 to 1833)
Secretary of State: Daniel Webster (1829 to 1833)
Secretary of the Treasury: Richard Rush (1829), Louis McLane (1829 to 1833)
Secretary of War: William Henry Harrison (1829 to 1833)
Attorney General: Samuel A. Foot (1829 to 1833)
Secretary of the Navy: Ezekiel F. Chambers (1829 to 1833)
President Sergeant came to office with the lowest popular vote total in history as the first candidate not from the Federalist or Republican parties. He immediately had to tread cautiously, forming a minority government and courting a coalition with the Anti-Masonics with his cabinet appointments.
In early 1829, just days after the inauguration, Supreme Court Associate Justice Thomas Todd passed away. To fill his position, Sergeant appointed Treasury Secretary Richard Rush to the position; Rush was subsequently replaced at Treasury by Louis McLane. Later in the year, Justice Bushrod Washington died as well. He was replaced by John McLean.
Working closely with the president, Secretary Webster immediately began navigating thorny issues. He first sent invitations to both sides of the Mexican Civil War to meet in New Orleans and negotiate peace, and then negotiated with Massachusetts to bring Maine in as a state. Webster then departed Washington for several months to oversee the negotiations at New Orleans, attended by Prime Minister of Mexico José Manuel de Herrera on the imperial side and by General Guadelupe Victoria on the Republican side.
Following the administration's failure to gain a Bank reform bill, Sergeant set his sights lower as he waited for midterms. He managed to gain a bill providing for the construction of a road from New York City to New Orleans in September, and American ratification of the Treaty of New Orleans in October.
In November, the returns were astonishingly in favor of the National Union party. The party gained a clear majority in both houses, with the Anti-Masonics coming in a strong second place. Sergeant continued to attempt his coalition building with the Anti-Masonics, attempting to gain a two-thirds supermajority to pass bills.
As the final session of the Twenty-First Congress came to a close, Anti-Masonic leaders came to an agreement with President Sergeant. If he would endorse their voting reform bill, they would support the Bank reform bill.
Over the summer, Webster negotiated a treaty with Britain setting the US-Canada border west of the Great Lakes at the 49th parallel. It was ratified as the opening act of the Twenty-Second Congress.
The Anti-Masonic voting reform bill came to a vote in mid-December of 1831. As promised, Sergeant used his influence to get the National Union party to back it. Many, however, were uncomfortable with it. Senator Johnson rose to condemn the bill, declaring it "nothing more than utter capitulation to the mob." He urged his colleagues to vote with the Democratic-Republicans and oppose the bill. Nearly half of the National Unionists deserted with him; however, the bill passed by a very narrow margin.
Senator Johnson's supporters, often contemptuously referred to as Bucktails, also voted against the Bank reform bill; it too passed by a very narrow margin. As the bills passed, Johnson pledged to support the opposition candidate to Sergeant later in the year.

2022.01.17 15:22 stayfrosty-001 Team building question
When it comes to building teams, outside of the PvP circuit, is this a game where I can just build for whatever team synergies and do well. For example I’m currently trying to build X-force, would I be sabotaging myself by continuing to build this team, or will I be fine continuing down this path?
